This last weekend we took Val Dean to a Halloween party for the local Little People in Utah. They have parties fairly often and although Val Dean is too young to understand any differences, he always enjoys a party. He loves to be around other kids and of course loves the treats at parties. We decided to dress him up as a Vampire, Val tries to teach him to tell people "I want to suck your blood". I think that is going to be a weird phrase for him to learn when Halloween is over. When he saw himself in the mirror after putting on the costume he said "oh it's so cute". ( Val's not sure which phrase is scarier.)
Val Dean's favorite part of the party was decorating cookies with mommy.
Let me restate the above, his favorite part was actually eating the decorated cookie.
Finally a girl my size! This little girl is a few weeks younger than Val Dean. She is so cute, Val Dean is going to have to keep tabs on these girls.
Although he is not doing himself any favors by stealing her treats!
Needless to say Val Dean was popular with all the girls!
We all had a blast. Little kids in costumes are so cute normally, but when Little little kids are dressed up it's beyond adorable.

Val Dean is so adorable. I am conviced that he has the most wonderful, caring and loving parents. He is so blessed to be part of your family as you guys are so blessed to have him as well. He is going to be a great big "little" brother! Congrats on doing such a awesome job as parents!

So cute! That's great that you have him interact with other people like him, so he doesn't feel like the only one. That's what we try to do with Jaman!
